Sawyer

I cant believe that Sawyer is 5 months old already. I just love having him here with us and am sad that it is going by so fast. He really doesn't do much but eat, sleep, and poop! He has no interest in rolling over and most times I don't know if he knows he has feet to stand with. He is just so handsome and is starting to make the cutest little noises and loves when Haylee and Luke talk to him. These are just random pictures I have taken the past few months of him.

Father and Sons

Seth and Luke were able to go on the Father and sons camp out this year and boy did they have fun. Luke was so excited to go and sleep in a sleeping bag and tent. When we pulled out the sleeping bags he didn't even know how to get in one. He just pulled the whole thing on top of him and thought that it was a funny blanket and wasn't sure that it was going to keep him warm enough. So sad that my kids have no idea how to camp but really I don't care too much because I don't enjoy it at all. I will go though for the sake of my kids and Seth but I for sure have to have a real toilet and would really like to have a shower of some sorts. Anyways Luke got to be with his buddies Oliver and Keegan. Thanks to the Drakes they shared their tent with Seth and Luke! They got to eat yummy smores and Luke even got burned by the fire because he was standing too close. He came home though and was talking about it for days and cant wait to go again.

Holding time!

Here are some of the people that got to hold Sawyer while we were on vacation in ArizonaThis is my Grandpa Smith My Grandma Matheny Berkley Matheny Mackenzie MathenyBelle MathenyAunt Beth Uncle Chris & Aunt JulieGrandpa Larry Jensen Matheny

I know that more people held him but I just didn't have my camera with me the whole time so when we visit next I will for sure get the rest of you all. Sawyer and really the rest of my family are so lucky to have all of you as our family. We love you all.

Blessing Day

We were so lucky to travel up to Arizona and be with our families for spring break and while we were there we blessed Sawyer. My Mom, Erin, and Wendi were so nice to make such a yummy brunch and be the host of the party. It was such a neat thing to do and I am so thankful for all the family we had there. Seth did such a good job blessing Sawyer and I am so grateful for him and being able to do this for our family. We just love having a new baby and he is just so sweet and cute.

Double Digits

I cant believe that I have a kid that is in the double digits. Haylee turned 10 this year and I am so glad she is my daughter. She truly is such a blessing to our family and I love her sweet spirit. Haylee is the most tender hearted girl I know. She is so willing to help out in any way and is always looking to make others around her happy. She loves school and was a part of the Honor Choir this year. I had the chance to go on a field trip with the group and it was fun to see her love of music. She also loves Math and Science at school and is really excited to be in 5th grade next year. Her hobbies at home consist of playing outside with all the neighbor kids and holding Sawyer. She is such a great help and I love her so much.

Visitors

It was so nice to have all the company that we had come. First off we had Peggy and Larry come to help out with the kids while I was in the hospital having the baby. The kids love spending time with them and get so spoiled by them. It was so nice of them to make sure the kids got off to school and picked up on time and make sure they had dinner at night. While the kids were in school they got to come and see the baby the day we had him and get to hold him for a little bit. I am so glad that they were able to come out and help. Seth was able to take a week off of work and hang out with me and Sawyer which was so nice and fun to just be with him for a bit. He was so helpful and made sure the house stayed clean and the kids were taken care of while I was trying to heal from my c-section. When Seth went back to work we got to have Grandma Gwen for a week and that was so nice as well. I hope that she will come back because it was a crazy week for sure. I am so glad she came because it was nice to have her advice and to just catch up. She definitely kept me calm and she reassured me that I was doing okay and that I didn't have a fussy baby but that all babies cry! She had all kinds of project to do and she crocheted my kids some super cute things. She kept me from losing my mind when Luke broke our neighbors window with a rock when he was hitting them in the backyard with a bat and she also kept me calm when Luke almost hung himself on the trampoline when he decided to try to hang onto a jump rope that was dangling from our basketball hoop that we have on the trampoline. Truly if she was not there I think I would have lost it so thank you so much for coming mom! Next was my sister Erin. We have so much fun just hanging out and doing nothing which is what we did for 4 days. She doesn't have cable so when she comes to visit it is a real treat for her. We watched a lot of Food Network and HGTV and really we weren't to picky. I am pretty sure she managed to get in more naps then I did but I am so grateful she came to visit because she really was a big help and my kids love her as well. She is so good at listening to what they say and they can feel that. Thanks Erin! It really was a shock once all the company was gone and I had to do things on my own. I think I took my kids to school one day 2 hours late because we just were running late. We are all learning to adjust and just love having Sawyer a part of our family. Haylee just loves to hold him and between us I am not sure who kissed him most. Luke doesn't hold him much and when he does he is so stiff and freaks out if Sawyer moves. Its kind of funny. I just love to look at him and cant wait for him to smile back at me and I hope that he will love me as much as I love him

Sawyer Christopher Beisner

Here he is at last! I had Sawyer on Thursday January 21st at 8:36a.m. He weighed in at 7lbs 12oz. and was 17 and3/4 inches long. Everything went as well as could be expected when you are having a c-section and I am so glad that he is here. He is just so cute and has a little bit of strawberry blonde hair and loves to sleep(for now). The kids are just so excited that we are home and love to hold and kiss him on the head. Luke freaks out every time he makes a noise and thinks something is wrong with him. I am so glad that Sawyer is a part of our family and I cant wait to see how much better things will get

3 More Weeks!

I am so excited to get this baby out! I have scheduled my c-section for the 21st of January and am counting down the days. I do have to say that I am not one that enjoys being pregnant but I am excited for the end result! I know that it is cheesy to take pictures of yourself when you are pregnant but I really do want to remember this down the road.
