I'm a Deacon!

I can't believe that Luke is 12. We had such a fun day together for his birthday and he was so excited for Sunday to come because it meant he was in young mens!  For so long he has said that he would never pass the sacrament and didn't want to go to mutual but I am happy to say he has changed his mind. This Sunday will be his first time passing the sacrament and he can't wait. He is excited to get his "route" of where he will actually pass. Luke is such a good person and loves to always be talking or singing. I love you bud!

Birthday girl!

I can't believe Haylee is 14! She is such a sweet good girl. She loves school, Rudi, her cell phone, and tennis. She is playing for the high school jv team and has her first match this coming Wednesday. This month she will be going to her first stake dance and she is so excited. I better teach her how to slow dance just in case. We love you HAYLEE!!!

Sleepy time

Sweet little Rudy will find any warm body to snuggle up with and take a nap. He found sawyer on the couch sleeping and just nestled right into him!

Merry Christmas

We had a great christmas this year. We decided to stay home this year in hopes we would have a white Christmas but no such luck. We decided that this would be the year that we would let Haylee know that Santa isn't real and it was quite sad. She cried then would laugh and then cry again and did that for about 30 min. She was devastated. But in hopes to make her still feel the magic of christmas we got the kids a new kitten. We put a collar with a bell on it and let it run around the house at 6am and they woke up to this sweet little face!!!

Thanksgiving weekend

We had an amazing thanksgiving weekend!  We didn't make it to Arizona this year so we made it the best we could here in New Mexico!  First we started off with great food and friends and I made some homemade rolls and reminded me of my mom. They we so delicious. 

I of course had to go do some Black Friday shopping just to kick off the madness of the holidays. Saturday we went with the Rice family to the mountains to cut down our own christmas tree. It was so magical. We had so much fun finding the perfect one. 

The kids had fun sledding and playing in the snow. 

I think our tree is perfect and I don't think I will ever put up a fake tree again!!!

So we just went to Arizona for Seth's brothers wedding and had to get fancy so we took the opportunity to take a family picture! Thanks to Erin and my iphone I think we got a good one. 

Field Trip

Sawyer went on his first field trip to Walkers Popcorn Shop! It was really fun. All the kids got to spin their own cotton candy and came home with some yummy rainbow and cheese popcorn. This was probably my favorite field trip so far that I have been on with the kids! I LOVE popcorn! I bought some peppermint cookies and creme kind to take home and eat and it is so good!!

Fall

I know it's crazy but I don't love having seasons.  The trees are really pretty right now but soon everything will be ugly and dead. We went down by the Rio Grande today and took some cute pictures of the kids. Happy fall!!!

No words!

I honestly don't even have words to say other than "YOU ARE KILLING ME SAWYER". I guess it's to be expected when your best friend is a girl. They discovered that they like wearing tight on the trampoline because it makes them slippery.  I am thinking the superman shirt keeps him cool.
