Thanksgiving weekend

We had an amazing thanksgiving weekend!  We didn't make it to Arizona this year so we made it the best we could here in New Mexico!  First we started off with great food and friends and I made some homemade rolls and reminded me of my mom. They we so delicious. 

I of course had to go do some Black Friday shopping just to kick off the madness of the holidays. Saturday we went with the Rice family to the mountains to cut down our own christmas tree. It was so magical. We had so much fun finding the perfect one. 

The kids had fun sledding and playing in the snow. 

I think our tree is perfect and I don't think I will ever put up a fake tree again!!!

So we just went to Arizona for Seth's brothers wedding and had to get fancy so we took the opportunity to take a family picture! Thanks to Erin and my iphone I think we got a good one. 

Field Trip

Sawyer went on his first field trip to Walkers Popcorn Shop! It was really fun. All the kids got to spin their own cotton candy and came home with some yummy rainbow and cheese popcorn. This was probably my favorite field trip so far that I have been on with the kids! I LOVE popcorn! I bought some peppermint cookies and creme kind to take home and eat and it is so good!!

Fall

I know it's crazy but I don't love having seasons.  The trees are really pretty right now but soon everything will be ugly and dead. We went down by the Rio Grande today and took some cute pictures of the kids. Happy fall!!!

No words!

I honestly don't even have words to say other than "YOU ARE KILLING ME SAWYER". I guess it's to be expected when your best friend is a girl. They discovered that they like wearing tight on the trampoline because it makes them slippery.  I am thinking the superman shirt keeps him cool. 

Pumpkin patch

Sawyer and some of his friends went and played at the pumpkin patch today! It was a perfect fall day and the kids had tons of fun. 

Masks!

Since Sawyer is having so much fun dressing up I thought I would make him some masks to wear with his costumes! They turned out super cute and he loves them!!! He loves to walk around with his shirt off and pretend he is "the Hulk". He broke off one of his buttons on his shirt today pretending to be the hulk and tear off his shirt! He's pretty funny :)

Is it Halloween yet?

 Sawyer is so happy that all the Halloween stores are FINALLY open! We go every Saturday as a family and then I usually take him once durning the week by ourselves.  He is getting tired of wearing princess dresses so today I went to a second hand store and bought him a couple of costumes!!! HE LOVES THEM!!! He has literally tried all if them on 15 times each. This is the best $20 I've spent in a long time :)

Underwear Head

Why is it that every kid at some point think its so fun to wear underwear on your head??? Well right now it's what Sawyer loves to do. Luckily most of the time he grabs clean ones ;)

So our next door neighbors who we have no idea really who they are have us a huge bag of clothes that they thought we might be able to use. It was very nice of them to think of us and I am already thinking of a yummy treat to make them to say thanks!  So the bag had nothing that my kids could wear except this Star Wars costume that sawyer loves. He sure makes a cute Jedi.
